During the first half of my Masters in 2021 we were tasked to answer the question How can theory of practice, Inform our working practices. This is what came out of the research around that confusing question. Most of my research was focused on my own working practices and what I could ultimately learn from them. This is why I made this concertina that acts as a way for me to understand my working methods. The book was created entirely by hand, the background from ink, the numbers from screen printing and the type from a label maker. During the screen printing process however the pages stuck together so bad that when they were finally pried from each other the ink had been pulled away to create these white patches, however this acted as a lesson as I felt it improved the design and showed me that not all failures and failures in design.
